Knowsley Labour Party covers greenbelt area, industrial and business parks as well as urban residential developments and includes three town centres:
* Huyton Town Centre
* Kirkby Town Centre
* Prescot Town Centre
At the moment, there are two MPs representing the area:
Eddie O'Hara - Knowsley South
George Howarth - Knowsley North and Sefton East
At the next general election there will be a new Knowsley constituency. George Howarth has been selected as the Labour candidate for this seat.
